I will happily photograph newborns, children, Seniors and couples in my home studio or in a location of your choice. Families can be done in my home studio, but usually work much better in a location environment, giving up more room to move around. I will travel to any location in the Las Vegas area or you can ask me for location ideas. There are some beautiful areas around here, and a wide variety of looks depending on what you are going for.
A photography session should be an enjoyable experience. I avoid pressuring children, instead playing games and laughing with them to capture nature and spontaneous moments. Sometimes a session will take up to two hours so that we can have plenty of time to capture great images. Please bring beverages, snacks or anything else that your child might need to remain happy and comfortable. Schedule sessions at times when they will be alert and happy. A bit of forethought can make the photography experience fun and exciting, rather than long and tortuous (anyone else remember sessions like that from their childhood?)
What to wear? Please, be comfortable. Solid colors work wonderfully but avoid large logos and prints on shirts. I personally love photos where families are coordinated but not necessarily matching. I also have hats, pettiskirts and other accessories available for children and babies. We can definitely discuss options when you book a session.
What happens afterwards? I will post your pictures in a unique password-protected online gallery that you can share with friends and family within a week of your session. Expect approximately 25-35 images from a standard session. You may place an order online through the gallery or we can meet in person to discuss options such a digital collages and storyboards. A combination of the two works well, allowing distant relatives to order their own photos while you have the option to order custom projects and gifts.
